Project Title: The Lane of Legacy
Project Synopsis:
The initial idea of Colgate retail flagship store comes from the brand statement "Creating smiles from generation to generation." Taking the words of generation to generation and translating them into a meaning that their product has been there and used throughout people's lifetime journeys. It means that behind every smiling moment in their life, Colgate has played a significant part in it. Therefore, the mission is to pass down those smiles from the previous generation to the future generation. Thus, this idea is derived into a concept of "Legacy."
Community Space

Target Audience: HDB residents (middle age and elderly)
Project Synopsis:
The project brief is to redefine how we live, study, work, rest, and play because of the "New Normal" caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The site selection is within a 10-15 km radius from "Old Dove Playground" that is based on the seven olden days playgrounds. Therefore, this community space reflects the essence of the playground that acts as a link between residents from different blocks to bond. Also, using the concept of "bridge," which is Old Dove Playground's structure, creates links and changes the way people move throughout the space. It allows connection but also separates it at the same time.

Redefining the usual uses of chalets by increasing social engagements and interaction horizontally and vertically within the unit by establishing social spaces and lookout zones where activities can take place, without neglecting the importance of relaxing/resting.

Project Synopsis:
"Diversity" global youth hub is a space for young people, especially teenagers and young adults from different countries, to connect and explore each other's culture by sharing ideas, traditions, and knowledge. The project objectives are to give youth platforms and opportunities to broaden their perspective, enlarge their social circle, and cultivate respect for differences. The concept idea is derived from the essence of the project, which is "diversity," where people worldwide from different cardinal directions come into one place to interact.
Children Library
Project Title: Interlocking Space

Floor Area: 120 sqm
Target Audience: Children (3-6 years old)
Project Synopsis:
This is a library for parents and children that serves as a comfortable space for children to freely explore and discover while encouraging them to learn independently as they move throughout the space. The design is executed by creating open and semi-private areas that function as a multipurpose space for children to play and learn.
